Nice stay in great location: Our short stay at River Edge Inn was just perfect! We were warmly welcomed at Reception, and they had our prepaid Booking.com (partner) reservation at hand—no issues. At check-in, we requested a first floor room and they assigned it right away. We loved the design of the bathroom and the Bath and Body Works toiletries. Mixed reviews on the beds, based on personal preferences: I loved the feel of sleeping on a cloud; my aunt would have preferred a firmer mattress. The location is perfect—close to everything we wanted to do, but on River Road, away from the crowds. I highly recommend River Edge Inn.

This is a remodeled motel located on River Road on the inside block not the river side. There is another hotel between it and the river. But the location was great in regards to Ober Gatlinburg, the Convention Center, the Smokey Mountains, and Cade’s Cove. Staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean. The bed was wonderful. Great place.

We stayed at this hotel in Gatlinburg because it was cheaper than most of the other rates in town. I don’t understand why, because this is the best place we have ever stayed at in Gatlinburg.

The first impression is at check-in. The women at the front desk were always very friendly, and that’s getting rarer.

The rooms are recently remodeled in more modern decor and the details are very nice. There’s a balcony, which is great on cool mornings. The beds are heavenly. The upscale toiletries were a nice touch. The wi-fi was secure and reliable. The place was quiet. Honestly, the only thing we could find wrong with it was the extremely loud garbage trucks that swing by at 5 am, but I don’t expect the hotel to yell at the garbage men. They’re just too nice.

This was the best stay I’ve had at a hotel in a while. They are putting a lot of care into it and it shows.

Very beautiful and spacious room! The bed was so comfortable. Located within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. Very friendly staff! The Keurig in the room was a very nice touch. Wish we could have stayed longer 🙂
