Santa Claus is coming to town. Actually, Santa Clauses are coming to town! Although the holidays have come and gone, the Christmas spirit is returning to the Great Smoky Mountains for a one of a kind parade. This March, hundreds of Santas will walk the streets of Gatlinburg as part of the annual Clausfest convention. Located right around the corner from our Gatlinburg hotel, this fun filled parade is your last chance to enjoy Christmas cheer until December.
Where and When
The parade will take place on Saturday March 15th at 4:00 p.m. The Christmas characters will make their way down the Parkway in Gatlinburg. The Santas will start their stroll at Traffic Light #10 and finish their journey at Traffic Light #6. We recommend showing up a little early, so you can get a front row view of all the fun!
St. Nick, The Mrs., and More
Clausfest brings Santas from all around the world to Gatlinburg! Spectators will see Santas dressed in their classic red and white garb and Father Christmases wearing the traditional costumes from their home countries. While some Santas make the trek on foot, others cruise down the Parkway in festive floats and Christmas themed cars.
St. Nick never travels alone! The Santas will be accompanied by all of your favorite Christmas characters. Expect to see Mrs. Claus, Santa’s Helpers, and lots of Elves. Your kids will absolutely love seeing all of the best holiday icons in the middle of March!
