The 2014 Christmas Parade in Gatlinburg will be held on Friday, December 5th in downtown Gatlinburg. It starts at Traffic Light #1A on Hwy 321 at 7:30 p.m. and ends at Traffic Light #10 about 90 minutes later. The parade is scheduled to include more than 100 entries and will feature over a dozen marching bands from Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and Alabama. In addition, attendees will enjoy the thousands of twinkling lights from the Gatlinburg Winter Magic holiday light displays that line the parade route.
Practical Information
The Christmas parade is one of Gatlinburg’s most popular events, drawing more than 80,000 spectators each year! Therefore, we suggest that you arrive early to enjoy the town and to find that perfect viewing spot. Note that the Parkway through downtown Gatlinburg will be closed for a short period before and after the parade, as well as during the parade itself.
